Fraudby Nigerians arround the world.

Now back to the most disturbing and disheartening issue “fraud by Nigerians”. well we are blamed because we happen to have smart kids who decided to use their “God given computer” to lure gullible, dump and greedy people arround the world into sharing their dollars with them. the most annoying thing is they blame Nigeria as fraud itself. and frankly when you study the case carefully with wisdom and rationality, you would find out that infact that its not Nigerians that are fraud, the victim himself is a fraud. you might say what the hec is this guy talking about, well i would tackle why the victim is a fraud as my blaberrings unfold.

First issue “email fraud” in summary from different emails i have read the most popular been of one smart kid in Nigeria who decided to share some millions to you, he happens to actually get from his father who happens to be a corrupt president or should i say ex-president, with you. now the first question is why you? and how the hec did he get your email, if he is legitimate. now besides that lets say he gets it from a forum other channels which can be quite easy. Now this is stolen money and you know all right that is stolen money, and you want to help him out in investing it or keeping???? so who is the theif now? Nigerians or you???
i mean this victims , i really dont understand them.

It goes on like this , after exchanging various faxes, and mails etc he decides to transfer the money to your account so that you can help him in the safe transferring or investing. sounds interesting doesnt it? well i would say cool, if i happen to be a theif myself, an accomplice to the crime so to speak. i dont mind even sharing my account number and bank information. now can this guy access my account? if not that i give him vital information such as my pin number for accessing my online account, how the hec can he access it? now why would i give him such information, since he just wants to transfer money into my account. i can even post my account number here and bank information and you cant actually do anything with it. its useless as long as the information is just basic bank account, bank address and maybe swift code.

Now doesnt actually end there, it goes to the extent that they this smart kid tells you that he doesnt have the money to do the transfer !!! common for Christ sake !! the Bank can subtract from the account and use it as transaction fees, thats what they actually do with your permission all the time, you dont need to send extra money for transfer :D . Now who is the stupid one, the Nigerian kid or the greedy victim. now the greedy victim goes to the extent of sending money to help send stolen money to him. and now his money gets stolen, and the smart kid dissapears :) the victim now goes online and start blabbering that Nigerians are fraud !!!. I really dont understand, well they always get sympaty from the world. you can actually even tell from all those nasty sites arround the net, not only by Nigerians but many smart educated people arround the world. common guys wake up !!!.

Another issue is online payment with credit cards. ok actually Nigerians have a means of getting credit cards from the USA or some European countries through legitimate means especially debit cards, now the question is what about the case of stolen credit cards!!. Credit cards theft is everywhere arround the world. infact America as a country has a huge record of credit cards theft daily. an example is one i gathered from this link

While 76% of respondents said credit card fraud is either a moderate or major concern, only 69% of respondents felt the same way about online credit card fraud. The results are from a survey of 943 American credit card holders fielded last week who were asked their opinions about credit card security, both online and offline, as well as about their experiences with credit card fraud. Credit card fraud is still a major concern to 4 in 10 Americans—both online and offline. 42% of respondents expressed serious worries about credit card security, and consider fraud a major concern. Nearly the same number of Americans—41%—consider online credit card fraudulence a major concern and 38% of respondents said they are less likely to make an Internet purchase because of those anxieties.

The apprehension seems to be justified: 12% of respondents to the Ipsos-Insight survey said they have been the victims of credit card fraud. The number of people who reported knowing someone who had been a victim of fraud as a result of a stolen credit card concurs with the recent estimate from the Federal Trade Commission that 27.3 million Americans have been the victims of identity theft in the last five years.

Now dont tell me its Nigerians !!! lolz. ok the question is why would i not verify the billing address and phone number of the card holder before i authorise shipment??? especially to international destinations? when we all know that there are many stolen credit cards yearly. now the question is they ship before validation and complain after the credit card is declared as stolen or whatever cases. men this shopping sites are not just realistic with their blames. i just dont understand them.

Ah before i forget , over here in Malaysia, Nigerians are know as fraudsters because of their past money dubbling sceams. now another issue, which is really funny, i come to you and double your money, if its not greed for christ sake? if i can double money why cant i do it for myself? why you? ah they wouldnt give you an answer for sure, and yet they blame Nigerians.

Nigerians are not fraudsters its the victims that are fraudsters, theives or greedy people whatever applies.

Spammers

i hate spammers . they have been spamming my comment section for the past 2 weeks. i would have to switch it to moderating mode. well by the way life has been very interesting.

I have been playing arround with phpgtk quite fun.

Nigerian Fraud

well i am really sick and tired of Nigerian frauds arround the world. what to do? these people would never stop at anything. :(

What a life.

i have been travelling up and down. i mean travelling to kl like 3 times a week for the past 2 months or so, and i am really fed up. seriously i mean what is it that i am after. dont mind me. nah money !!!. well you can say so, but well the truth is i guess i have fallen in love with KL. hum :-? how can that be?

I dont know :(

What a Nuisance!!!

Well its weekend, another end of the week, and i am currently in Kuala Lumpur, currently i am just browsing trying to register a .info domain and its been given me a lot of headache saying domain cant be registered this time something like that. i got no idea what the reason is. i might try again after this. anywayz my hosting company might shift domain, because of a copycat. now we offer to buy off the domain and the company says its domain its not for sale and the CEO gave an interesting alternative, which we might consider, for now. if it doesnt flow according to benefit i guess we would just have to migrate to a new domain, and trademark it.

My coding is rusted really, because it took me like 5 hours just to trying to use a special module pattern of sorting database based on rights etc, this i could do before in a short period of time infact half the time, i guess i need to really start coding on a regular basis, so as not to loose the grip totally, it really sucks.trust me, when you think you know something and all of a sudden you are blank. if you get what i am trying to say :( . well i have to do the database structure this weekend, and also the structure of my companies future projects etc. well enough of blabberings i goto run. good day. AND before i forget. HAPPY EID EL KABIR to all Muslims outhere :D

New week Begins

well actually, there is no classes tommorrow according to the academic calendar, there is this Thaipusam celebration thingy and well its an india celebration which i sincerely dont have an idea what it is all about. anywayz i have decided to do the coding i talked about the other time for my client because it is too costly to outsource, besides i feel more comfortable supporting my own scripts.

Actually one of my clients, that i did some intranet apps for a long time ago is having problems with accountability in his firm. Their present accounting system sucks and i have to look into it, make a feasibility and system analysis on ROI etc.
Now i am doing most of the research on the net on the best approach to take, because their system is quiet complicated. i need people to lend me a hand, if you can give support drop me a mail, and i would compensate you accordingly.

My hosting servers. i am still contemplating on changing servers !!. not again hahahaha not exactly change. the current clients would still have and use the same server. but i am actually getting an additional maybe VPS dedicated to expand our horizons.

Lolz what a guy, ah yeah i actually convinced my mum to hook me up to a deal that would bring me atleast 500% – 700% profit in a duration of 1 – 3 months depending on how fast i want my cash back. the broker better dont fuck up or i am going to sue his ass. hahaha i wish. maybe i sue both him and my mom. :) )
crazy guy han. well i am, but still she is skeptical of letting me in talking about my studies as usual and all those crappy stuff my parents usually always blabber whenever i talk about business.

well thats all for now i have to say ADIOS or it should be Jumpa Lagi in malay. good day blog.

Information Systems

well today hahha didnt actually studied much but the paper was beautiful. i could actually solved all the questions with high accuracy, i couldnt believe myself. well it was like
what is informations systems

that easy? hahaha not that easy, because they was a lot of hypotetical questions and you are supposed to analyse and write something just like i did. hahahha. well i am a good listener in class though ;) . well now yeah still waiting for the quotation from my outsource alliance for a system i am designing before i decide to do it myself or to outsource it. well yeah i normally analyse that to cut cost and time. well thats all for now.

Its been a Long time.

well hello blog how are you doing? hahah i am crazy right. well i guess i am.
now back to what i really came here to do.

well first of all what has happened since thursday well i saw my client on friday, i had to setup thier mailing system as in their mail server. make sure it was working properly and then had a treated lunch by the CEO, and also ran over the system i am supposed to design for them in the accounting department.

Now back to the seminar i attended on monday. the seminar was good and their concept and strategies is awesome. but the system sucks in my world, as in i dont find it financially feasible to operate. its infact not profitable at all. so i decided to get back my refund, and quit it.

And yeah i had to remove one of the banners i display before because their income is unreasonable. now there is Naijahost. hahaha one of the business i run with my partners. well its really worth trying out our hosting services. besides you can actually earn from our referral services.

Our referral services cost only 9000 naira annual subscription fee. upon subscriptions all you do is reffer anybody to us, and upon purchase of any of our service you automatically get 20% of the cost of the service. so you are virtually earning without doing nothing. and if u have many friends you can become rich by just reffering them . hahahhaa. very true. and besides we give you 30 days money back guarantee. if you are not satisfied with our services within the first 30 days. you get your money back.

well enough of marketing. i suck at it though :P . hehehe i prefer employing people to do it. what i do is designing the marketing system or whatever that has to do with designing. hehehe. i am fine with theories but too lazy to apply.hahah crap. well yeah i am currently building up an empire earning system somehow MLM related but just a stolen part of the hybrid system.well enough for now i do have a test tommorrow. and i have studied only 80% . i am in a big mess. hahaha bye for now..

Updates on Blackout

I guess the blackout was not the whole malaysia. hahah. below is the news report

PETALING JAYA: The failure of a switchgear in the Kapar power station brought four states and Putrajaya and parts of Kuala Lumpur to a standstill in a five-hour power blackout in the southern region of the peninsula.

Tens of thousands of motorists were caught in a snarl and millions of people had to have their lunch either in candlelight or out in the open when power failed at 12.16pm.

This is the fourth major power failure to hit the country since 1985.

Policemen were mobilised at traffic light junctions to ease the massive lunchtime congestion.

Firemen were also called to rescue those who were stuck in lifts.

In the Klang Valley, 12,000 people were affected when the LRT and Komuter train services came to a standstill. Some of them were trapped in tunnels but were quickly evacuated.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who was also one of those affected when the National Biodiversity Council meeting in Malacca was disrupted by the blackout, demanded an explanation from Tenaga Nasional Bhd.

“I hope TNB will make sure there will be no more blackouts,” he told reporters.

The power company blamed the outage on a busbar failure at 12.16pm, in the switchyard area of the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah power station in Kapar.

According to TNB deputy president and deputy chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Hadi Mohd Deros, the situation could have been worse, had they not carried out load shedding and limited the outage.

“When the busbar failure occurred, there was a loss of 1,700MW from the grid and we controlled a nationwide power failure by islanding the grid into four zones – north, east, central and south.

“The power failure in the central grid affected the transmission tripping of two substations, KL (east) and Pudu Ulu, which supplied electricity to major areas in the city.

“The southern states were affected because we had to load shed the loss of energy from the grid. If we did not isolate the transmission of energy through the islanding system, the power interruption would have also affected the northern and eastern states,” he said at a press conference in TNB’s head office at Jalan Bangsar.

He, however, apologised to its one million affected consumers for the incident.

Power supply to parts of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya was restored by 2pm and by 2.30pm in Malacca.

Abdul Hadi said that power supply to Negri Sembilan and Johor were restored at 2.50pm.

When asked whether the blackout was a result of sabotage by employees dissatisfied with no assurance of bonus and increments, he said preliminary investigations indicated that this was not so.

“The next board meeting will discuss the issues raised by the unions,” he added.

Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik, who also attended the biodiversity meeting in Malacca, rushed to Kuala Lumpur to attend a briefing by TNB officials.

He later told reporters that TNB would submit a full report on the power failure to him as soon as possible.

Kluang in Johor was the last area to get back its power supply at 5pm

hum by the way, i gtg now. have a client to meet to get more info on the intranet system i am currently desigining. bye

Blackout in Malaysia

the question is how many places where affected?
the answer: i dont have an idea on what the hec is going on. currently i know of cyberjaya and shah alam. cyberjaya mainly because thats where i am currently located and shah alam because i called a client of mine and he said they were affected too.

Now the cause? who knows? well glad to say critical systems in my school have backups for power therefore we were not really affected. but still the air-conditions were offline.

Hot? not really for now . but as as the clock ticks it is getting humid and hot. lolz what a world of technology, how would it have been without backup? i cannot imagine how critical it would be if all critical systems didnt have backups. well for example the library security system where you have to pass thru the scans. Oh i should not forget the most important of all our lecture rooms and halls where all lectures are offered using multimedia systems (projectors with pcs) all my lectures are in powepoint slides. so that means no more lectures yeeeeeeeeehaaaaaa. i wish. well its all good. all the so called systems luckily have backups for the power supply. i wish they didnt :D anywayz i would keep you updated.

yeah and i am starving currently because i couldnt withdraw my money through the atm. i could only buy chocolate bread with the change i had in my wallet. the question is why i dont keep a lot of money in my wallet? the answer is i am currently practising financial planning through restrains i intentioanally impose on myself. now back to the bank.what the hec is wrong with the bank. they didnt have power backups for their atms. dem. i have to get my passbook for manual withdrawal. back to the old fashion way. well someday we would be back to the old fashion way dont u think??. hehehe.
