The world of cars
Hum i love cars especially convertibles. My favourite car is the Ferrari Enzo, dont ask me why, because the reason is obvious. Its a ferrari (yes it is prestigious), fast (with a top Speed of 217.5 mph / 350.0 kph), with a power of 492.2 kw / 660.0 bhp at 7800 rpm and not forgetting to mention the unbelievable Torque of 657.0 Nm / 484.6 ft lbs at 5500 rpm (dem), and unique (only for special people like me ).
And please dont tell me your uncle or your dad has one, because only specially selected ferrari customers can purchase it and even you cant keep the car in your garage ( it is maintained by Ferrari and available for the client’s use on various circuits as arranged by Ferrari and also during private track sessions. The car is not expected to be street-legal or suitable for road use.), besides the price tag (a whopping $670 000 USD) , and that means you are either related to Michael Schumacher, Bernd Pischetsrieder, Frits Kroymans, Eric Clapton, Jay Kay, Nick Mason, or Pharrell Williams. heheh are you?
i doubt it

Well thats enzo for you. Well i do have one and its located in dreamland, fantasy avenue. heheheh.
Was checking the AutoZine Awards 2005. And guess what was the worst car of the year? I am sure you never heared of it, especially if you are not located in south-east asian region.
Worst Car of the year : Proton Gen.2
The Gen.2 was designed and engineered mostly by Lotus, but that doesn’t guarantee success. Build quality is the first issue Lotus cannot help. The Malaysian way of quality control is the biggest problem, not only at Proton’s assembly plant but also the parts suppliers. Whenever the Gen.2 rides on bumps , its loosely fitted parts squeak while a lot of suspension noise and harshness enter the cabin (Dem right !!).
The nasty plastics (hehehe), filmsy cupholders (woohoo), low grade door trim (lol) and flawed driving position (dem) worsen quality feel further. The Campro engine is weak on torque and noisy at high rev. The cheap tires lack grip. The rear seats are short of headroom… Gen.2 is easily the worst car of the year.
And the car of the year? lolz guess?
Ferrari of course but not the Enzo of course, well its the Ferrari F430.We didn’t expect a mid-life makeover had too much chance to win the COTY award, but Ferrari proved that a new engine, a new electronic differential and minor tweaks here and there can lift the year 2000 winner of this award to another league. F430 is not only a lot faster and more drivable than 360 Modena, but it also preserves – and even amplifies – the emotional character in the best Italian tradition. It has one of the most feelsome steerings in the world, being light, precise and fully communicative. It steers exactly the way as the driver thinks, just like an extension of his body.
This is not only contributed by the steering rack, but also the electronic differential. While Lamborghini Gallardo and Ford GT feel somewhat big and clumsy, F430 feels light and agile. It is the only car out there displaying no understeer at hard cornering, just pure neutral. There is no scary oversteer like the 360 either, because the active differential always send the right amount of drive to each rear wheel to correct over/understeer.
Praise must be given to the F430 engineering team. They resisted the temptation to follow the safe understeer trend like their competitors. They place driver control in first priority. They give the driver the best feedback from steering, brake pedal and throttle pedal, react the driver’s input with the purest steering, the sharpest throttle response and the strongest braking power from the ceramic discs. They made F430 the most involving and thrilling car to drive.
and thats what we are talking about.
